Student Leadership

Student Participation Outreach Team (SPOT) is an opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students to be student leaders. At the beginning of each school year students can run for a variety of positions on SPOT including: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasures, Sports Chair, and more! Students meet 1 - 2 times each month and also assist at our monthly Spirit Wednesday assemblies!

 

Each 4th and 5th grade classroom also has two student reps who attend monthly meetings.

 

We are excited to continue our work with No Place for Hate. This program consists of 4th and 5th graders who organize the pledge signing and activities and lessons to build a community of inclusivity, respect and equity. The group meets 1 - 2 times each month and is led by staff and parent volunteers. We are proud to have earned the NPFH designation for three years in a row. Our banner hangs proudly at the front of the school!
